The service is designed to process an exchange without requiring a permanent user account in the standard flow. Some information is still necessary to create, monitor and support an order, and blockchain transactions create public records that exist outside the service itself.
Information We Process
The information associated with an exchange depends on the assets, networks and support needs involved. Swap-BNB.io does not require the same information for every user or every order.
Exchange and Order Information
To create and process a crypto-to-crypto exchange, the service may process information such as:
- the sending and receiving assets;
- the selected source and destination networks;
- the amount entered for the exchange;
- the destination wallet address supplied by the user;
- deposit addresses and payment instructions generated for the order;
- the order ID and order status;
- transaction hashes and confirmation status;
- quote, minimum and fee information associated with the order.
This information is used to route, monitor and complete the exchange rather than to create a permanent trading profile.
Support and Contact Information
When you contact Swap-BNB.io, the service may process the email address you provide, an optional order ID, your message and any transaction details or screenshots you choose to submit. Do not send seed phrases, private keys or wallet recovery phrases through the contact form or by email.
Review Submission Information
When you submit a review, the service may process the name or nickname you provide, your 1–5 rating, an optional exchange direction, the review text, publication consent and an optional Order ID. The Order ID is used only for moderation or checking context and is not displayed with the published review.
Do not include seed phrases, private keys, wallet passwords or other sensitive credentials in a review. Review submissions can be checked for spam, duplicates, abusive content and accidental disclosure of sensitive information before publication.
Compliance Review Information
Routine KYC is not required for the standard exchange flow. If an exceptional risk-triggered AML review occurs, Swap-BNB.io may process additional transaction information and, when necessary, identity or supporting documents supplied for that review.
The AML Policy explains when additional review may be required.
Technical and Security Information
Operating and protecting an online service can generate technical records such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, request logs, anti-abuse signals and security-event data. Cookies or local-storage identifiers may also be processed where those technologies are used by the service.
Technical information is used for service operation, troubleshooting, abuse prevention and security rather than to create an investment or marketing profile from blockchain activity.
Why We Use This Information
Swap-BNB.io processes information only for purposes connected with operating, protecting and supporting the exchange service. Depending on the situation, information may be used to:
- create and process a crypto-to-crypto exchange;
- calculate and present exchange conditions;
- send the receiving asset to the destination wallet supplied by the user;
- monitor blockchain confirmations and order status;
- investigate a support request or transaction problem;
- detect abuse, phishing, fraud or other security issues;
- perform an exceptional risk or compliance review;
- maintain service reliability and troubleshoot technical errors;
- moderate and publish review submissions when publication consent is provided;
- handle privacy, security and compliance requests.
Blockchain Data Is Public
Public blockchains operate independently of Swap-BNB.io. Wallet addresses, transaction hashes, transferred amounts and other network data may be publicly visible and permanently recorded by the blockchain used for a transaction.
Swap-BNB.io can use public blockchain information to monitor deposits, confirmations, payouts and risk signals. The service cannot erase, modify or make private a transaction that has already been recorded on a public blockchain.
A privacy request sent to Swap-BNB.io can therefore apply to data controlled by the service, but it cannot require the service to rewrite an external blockchain ledger.
Service Providers and Processing Categories
Swap-BNB.io may rely on external service providers where they are necessary to operate an exchange or support the website. Providers can change as infrastructure and routing arrangements change.
Relevant categories may include:
- hosting, network and infrastructure services;
- exchange-routing or transaction-processing services;
- blockchain infrastructure and node access;
- security, anti-abuse and risk-screening services;
- support and communication tools.
Information is shared only to the extent needed for the relevant service function, security review or operational requirement.
Data Retention
Retention depends on the type of information and the reason it is needed. No single retention period applies to every exchange, support, security or compliance record.
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for purposes such as:
- completing and reconciling an exchange;
- responding to support or privacy requests;
- moderating and maintaining submitted reviews;
- investigating security incidents or abuse;
- handling disputes and order-history questions;
- maintaining records needed for an exceptional compliance review or applicable obligations.
When information is no longer reasonably needed for these purposes, it should no longer be retained as active service data, subject to technical backups and records that must remain available for legitimate security or compliance needs.
Security
Swap-BNB.io uses operational and technical controls intended to protect service-side order and contact information. The exchange flow also uses automated order checks, route and network validation, destination-address checks and status monitoring.
No online system or blockchain transfer can be guaranteed completely secure. Users should protect their own wallet credentials and devices and should verify the destination network and address before sending a transaction.
Swap-BNB Support never needs your seed phrase, private key or wallet recovery phrase. Do not provide those credentials in a support or privacy request.
Privacy Requests
For questions about information processed by Swap-BNB.io, contact [email protected]. To help identify an exchange or support conversation, include an order ID or the email address used for the request when relevant.
You may ask about service-controlled information associated with your support or exchange activity and may request correction or deletion where the request is applicable and technically possible. Some information may need to be retained for security, dispute or compliance reasons.
Public blockchain records are outside the direct control of Swap-BNB.io and cannot be altered or deleted by the service.
AML and Compliance Data
The standard crypto-to-crypto flow does not require routine KYC, but Swap-BNB.io uses risk-based screening. An exceptional risk alert can require additional review and may result in the collection of transaction details or supporting information that is not requested during a normal exchange.
Compliance-related information is handled for risk review, security, dispute handling and applicable compliance needs. See the AML Policy for screening triggers and possible order outcomes.
Policy Changes and Contact
Swap-BNB.io may update this Privacy Policy when the service, security model or data-handling practices change. When the policy changes, the effective date above will be updated.
